The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, which encompasses Ohio, handed down an excellent opinion yesterday for a male plaintiff, who alleged he was sexually harassed at work by another male.  The Columbus Sexual Harassment Lawyers at The Friedmann Firm can help you if you’ve been sexually harassed work- by a member of the same sex or the opposite sex.

The opinion itself is quite an interesting read and can be found here.  The case went to trial and the plaintiff was awarded a $300,000 judgment following a jury verdict in his favor.  The case was then appealed and the 6th Circuit issued the opinion linked above.

We are seeing same-sex sexual harassment cases more and more as of late.  This type of harassment continues to be a growing problem in workplaces throughout Ohio.  The Ohio Employment Lawyers at our firm have written several blogs on the topic of sexual harassment, such as what type of sexual harassment constitutes a hostile work environment and how same-sex sexual harassment claims have evolved.
