
Jamie Bailey has been working for The Friedmann Firm since her second year of law school. She is a 2020 graduate of Capital University Law School, where she was a three-year member of the moot court program. Jamie has traveled to New York City and Washington, D.C. to represent Capital University in appellate advocacy competitions, including on the American Bar Association National Moot Court Team. Jamie graduated as a member of the Order of the Barrister’s, a prestigious distinction recognizing students for brief writing and oral advocacy. In law school, Jamie served in several leadership positions, including Associate Justice of the Moot Court Board, Vice President of the Student Bar Association, and President of Capital’s ACLU Chapter.
Before pursuing law, Jamie attended Ohio State University and received degrees in Architecture and Women’s Studies. She also spent two years working in Spain as a nanny and freelance writer. She is a certified intermediate Spanish speaker. In her free time, Jamie enjoys traveling, cooking, running, and being an enthusiastic pet parent.
